A fabulous creative Arts and Craft club for our final week! Over the 7 weeks, we have developed our skills using different media to create texture and focus. This week we loved being creative with our splatter paint to create our backgrounds!
Thank you to all of the teams who attended the Accomplish Football Tournament today. All of the boys played amazing and should feel very proud of themselves. A special well done to Stanley Grove Academy who won overall.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, what’s our special feature of all? We have been drawing facial features and exploring identity to begin our journey into creative arts week #EYFS#art#PSED#physical#creative
A brilliant start to Creative Arts Week for Year 3! We have explored our different learning styles and enjoyed observing how our features change with different expressions. We also created an ‘all about me’ mood board, expressing our interests, hobbies and more! #reflections
‘Everyone is unique because we’re like little recipes’After our inspiring assembly, Year 2 have spent the first day of creative arts week exploring our identity and ‘what makes a me’. We shared positive affirmations with each other and created a ‘me tree’ to share our qualities.
A fantastic assembly led by Miss Harling and our Head of Creative Arts junior leader to introduce our Creative Arts week theme ‘reflections - this is me’.
We reflected on the story ‘What makes a me’ to focus in on what makes us unique and recognise our qualities within us!
Year 4 have enjoyed delving into Creative Arts week today, focussing on what is important to them and brought in objects that represent them as a person. They then used these ideas to create a mood board all about themselves @JCA__Art@JCA__PSHCE
Today, Year 5 thought carefully about ‘identity’ and we asked the question, ‘what makes me, me?’ We discussed how these things may change over time and wrote letters to our future selves. @JcaWriting#philosophy
Year 6 have started our Creative Arts week by thinking about things that are important to us. We worked in groups to rank these in order and used our oracy skills to explain, disagree and compromise. We have represented these, quotes and song lyrics in our art work. #oracy#JCAArt
